The accessing of this website, Golf Fore the Good, GFTG Members and all registered blogs and websites hosted by the parent sites ("the site") constitutes your acceptance of our privacy policy and use agreement, the terms of conditions of which are set forth herein. These terms are subject to change. Any changes will be posted here and users of this site agree in advance with any such changes. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms.

Golf Fore the Good, GFTG Members, its operators, representatives, agents or employees (“Golf Fore the Good”) shall not be liable for your ability or inability to access or use the site. Golf Fore the Good makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the site’s operation or the information, content or materials included on this site.  Neither shall Golf Fore the Good be held liable for any loss or injury, either directly or indirectly, resulting from the use of or the inability to use the site.  The use of the site and the posting of content are at the sole risk of the user.

All written materials, articles, postings, artwork, logos and content original to Golf Fore the Good are protected by copyright, trademark or other laws and may not be copied or used without prior written permission from Golf Fore the Good.  Any site content, beyond that which as a registered member you posted to your own site, is displayed for your own personal use and shall not be modified, disseminated, sold, published or broadcast without the written permission of Golf Fore the Good. 

Content linked to, displayed or provided by or pertaining to outside vendors, organizations or tradespersons are further covered by copyright, trademark or other laws. Golf Fore the Good shall take no responsibility and shall not be held liable for any individual actions, business, trade, sale, communications or any representations what so ever by any third party data linked to or displayed on the site.

Information contained within the site may be fact or fiction and the opinions set forth in Golf Fore the Good may or may not represent the views of the management. All content posted on individual member sites on Golf Fore the Good is the sole responsibility of the person or persons who originally posted the content. Any person or persons posting content or comments to the site shall comply with any applicable terms, licenses, copyrights and trademarks for that which they post or publish. Any person or persons posting to the site agree that they shall not post content of an illegal nature or content that is obscene or threatening.  Golf Fore the Good requires that any visitors, members and/or any third parties contribute only original content of a non-malicious nature. Users of the site agree that they shall not knowingly or willingly post misleading or false information.  Golf Fore the Good takes no responsibility for the accuracy of nor endorses any statements or opinions set forth upon this site.

Comments posted to the site by visitors, members or any party may or may not be edited for content, at the sole discretion of Golf Fore the Good. Golf Fore the Good reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms.  Content appearing on or linked to by Golf Fore the Good is provided without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. Golf Fore the Good does not monitor links to or from its pages and shall not be held liable for the content, accessibility or use of any such links.

The use of and posting of content to Golf Fore the Good contributes to the site as a whole. As such, any content on Golf Fore the Good may be published, copied, distributed, syndicated or displayed on other areas of the site and/or by RSS feeds.  By posting your content you are granting Golf Fore the Good a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use your content in connection with the operation of the site including, without limitation, the license rights to copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat your Content, and/or to incorporate it into a collective work.

Golf Fore the Good takes no responsibility for any sites outside of our direct control. How we collect information:

General Web Site Usage Information: We automatically collect IP addresses and Web site usage information through our hosting account. This information helps us evaluate how our visitors use and navigate our Web sites, including referring websites, search engines and the number and frequency of visitors to each Web page, along with the length of their visits. We do not collect personal information or email addresses in this manner.

Purchases you make through our affiliates: Information is generated when you make a purchase through one of our affiliate vendors, or when you click on a link. A click-through will generate a non-personal, unique “cookie” that identifies the user’s browser. The purpose for the collection of this data is to track traffic and subsequent sales between Golf Fore the Good and our affiliates. Personal, identifiable data is transferred when you complete a purchase on an affiliate’s site. This information may be shared with Golf Fore the Good. This enables the affiliates to reward Golf Fore the Good for the applicable commissions. We reserve the right to retain this reporting data as long as reasonably necessary for bookkeeping or auditing purposes. Refer to the affiliate’s privacy policy for full information regarding the handling of the collection of information on a site not under the control of Golf Fore the Good.
 
Members and Subscribers, Sharing of Information: A visitor to the site may choose to opt in to receive newsletters, emails, marketing campaigns or css feeds through the site. Email addresses and other personal information is collected when a site visitor subscribes to or joins Golf Fore the Good as a member. Participation is entirely voluntary and a consumer may choose to opt out of any future communications or membership at any time. Golf Fore the Good reserves the right to share, barter or sell your information to our advertisers or affiliates. By subscribing to or joining the site as a member you agree to receive emails from third party vendors. Golf Fore the Good shall make every reasonable effort to assure that any email that you receive from vendors and advertisers are all Can-Spam compliant. You may choose at any time to opt out of third party offerings and emails.

Should it become necessary for legal reasons or purposes of an audit, or be required by law or for investigation or prevention of fraud, Golf Fore the Good may share information with government or other outside agencies.

Changes in Our Policy: We reserve the right to make changes to our privacy policy. Any such changes will be posted within this page. These changes shall not authorize us to distribute any previously collected information without the user’s prior consent.

Abandoned or Inappropriate Content

Golf Fore the Good reserves the right to review all content posted to the site for appropriateness and timeliness.  Sites may be considered abandoned and removed from GFTG if no content is refreshed or posted for a period of six months.  If the site pertains to a once-yearly or occasional charity golf event or seasonal league or organization consideration may be given to the fact that content may not be continually updated.  Golf Fore the Good will attempt to contact the site administrator before removing any content or site of an abandoned nature but is not responsible for the inability to reach the user or administrator of any site.  Inappropriate content may be censored or removed at any time at the sole descretion of Golf Fore the Good.   Golf Fore the Good shall be the sole judge of what constitutes inappropriate content.
